OUR MISSION
At student2student, we have two primary goals:

1.) Help students understand and master challenging concepts.
Our tutors actively engage with the concepts they will be teaching and as such, have developed a far greater understanding of what they are and where they come from. Thus, they are familiar with the material and its applications, and being students themselves, are able to teach it in ways that other students can relate to and easily understand.

2.) Create self-sufficient high-achievers.
We believe that peer-to-peer tutoring has the ability to transform a student’s relationship with their education. In contrast to traditional teacher-student relationships, student-student relationships have a far greater capacity to foster the characteristics of high-performing students. We aim to fulfil this potential by developing genuine relationships and creating a relaxed and safe learning environment, where our tutors can serve as role models, friends, and educators.​

STUDENT DEVELOPMENT PLAN'S
Our Student Development Plan's (SDP's) are used to track your child's progress on a session-to-session basis and are a crucial component of the services that we offer. At the end of every term, our tutors aggregate this information and then communicate it to you, the parent, during your short SDP Evaluation Meeting's. With this, our tutors have a greater ability to continue tailoring their sessions to the particular needs and goals of your child.

PROFESSIONAL SERVICE
Make no mistake, despite being run by university students, student2student is a professional business that takes pride in the quality of its service. Importantly, we understand the immense responsibility that comes with being involved in your child's education in any respect. For this reason, our tutors are hand-selected based on their subject knowledge, teaching experience, and passion. We also put a lot of thought and effort into ensuring that your child is matched with the right tutor for them. Additionally, all of our tutors are covered by Public Liability Insurance and have up-to-date WWVP Registration's.
